Minadanao (94,595 sq. km) is an island found in the southern part of the country and it is the second largest in the Philippines. where you’ll find paradise, long stretches of white sand beaches, waterfalls, sites for mountain climbing and scuba diving and many others. Unfortunately in spite of a peace agreement between the government and armed resistance groups serious fighting broke out in September 2000. Major cities are Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga.
